Kostrub Oleksandr Oleksiiovych is the general secretary of the Ukrainian public organization "Ukrainian Association of Orthopedic Traumatologists", president of the Ukrainian NGO "Ukrainian Association of Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery and Arthroscopy", an actual member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, International Society of Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology (SICOT) and European Association of Sport Traumatology and Arthroscopy (ESSKA), the responsible secretary of the journal "Annals of Orthopedics, Traumatology and Prosthetics", a member of the editorial board of the journal “Orthopedics, Traumatology and Prosthetics”, a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the European Association of Orthopedic Surgeons, a member of the Board of Academics and the Task group of the Institute, Specialized Dissertation Council for the protection of doctoral dissertations in the field of Orthopedics and Traumatology.
