Symptoms of diseases requiring knee joint replacement: pain, limitation in movement of the shoulder joint.
Indications to shoulder joint replacement include fractures of shoulder head, when osteosynthesis of fragments is impossible.
Duration of the surgery
In ordinary cases the operation lasts approximately one hour.
Before the operation a patient is prescribed a course for prevention of infections and thromboembolia; it should be continued after operation.
