PE «Ukrainian Association of Orthopedists-Traumatologists» and the SI «The Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics by NAMS of Ukraine» inform herewith about the XVIІI Congress of orthopedists-traumatologists that will take place on 9th-11th of October 2019 in Ivano-Frankivsk of Ukraine.

Basic topics of the Congress:

1. Theoretic and experimental researches in traumatology and orthopedics.
• Technologies for regeneration in traumatology and orthopedics.
• Problems of osteopenia and osteoporosis in Ukraine.
2. Traumas and diseases of locomotion system.
• Combat trauma, road accident trauma.
• Injuries and diseases of upper limb.
• Injuries and diseases of lower limb and pelvic.
3. Spine and thorax pathologies.
• Conservative and surgical treatment.
• Less-invasive and instrumental spine surgery.
4. Complex and revision arthroplasty of big joints.
5. Prosthesis and orthesis, main direction for rehabilitation of the injured persons.
6. Pediatric traumatology and orthopedics.
7. Medical and social examination in case of locomotion system pathology; evaluation of results and registration of complications.
8. Training of the specialists in orthopedics and traumatology in Ukraine.

Priority shall be given to the reports and publications devoted to modern technologies and topical issues in the directions mentioned above.
